1- Proposing plans and programs related to the activity of QC Dept.
for approval and ensuring their sound implementation.
2- Verifying compliance of the local and imported
commodities/products with the approved standards.
3- Coordinating with the concerned governmental bodies towards the
implementation of systematic and unscheduled check plans for sites,
factories, stores, commodities, products and public services.
4- Proposing rules controlling the issuance of quality marks,
issuance of conformity certificates and accreditation of interested
non- governmental laboratories/services bodies; and enforce such
regulations once approved.
5- Providing suitable assistance and advice to various bodies and
individuals on how to meet the applicable standards and improve
quality.
6- Maintaining systematic checks of the quality levels in the plants
holding the quality mark.
7- Cooperating with local, G.C.C, Arab and international
governmental bodies in the field of quality control and compliance
with standards.
8- Developing researches, studies and statistical Statements
associated with QC Dept's scope of activity. |
