On the 30th of June 2002, under the Law No.16 of
2002, Qatar General Organization for Standards and Metrology (QGOSM)
was turned into its current framework as an organization with own
body corporate and with a budget annexed to the State's Budget. The
pro-active Strategy of QGOSM is outlined by the Board of Directors,
chaired by H. E. the Minister of Economy & Commerce. This Board
(BoD) makes the policy and controls the management of QGOSM .The
Director General manages all technical, administrative and financial
affairs, and ensures the effective and smooth operation of all
Departments /units in the light of QGOSM's laid down Strategy. |
